Ihave been in both, I prefer the thunder ride, i also like the additional freeboard, and side entry cabin option, and the walk around deck...

The AT will be a better rough water boat and better looking in my 002 but before you make your choice look at the 33 Power play now thats a real 33 rough water boat

I used to boat on the lake Mich. so I know what I wanted.
Might able to help with the financing too.

That would be way out of my price range for sure... Even with good financing @ 20 yrs, there is no way to get into a comfortable payment for me.

Unless your selling the boat DIRT CHEAP....

The 32AT will walk away from the 33Scarab in rough water (and boats 8-10' longer at times). Probably opposite in smooth water. Amenities will be better with a 33AVS as opposed to the 32AT which is a slightly older boat. The 33AT is a completely different boat with modern amenities and shares nothing with the 32AT.

whats the max price you can spend so if we see a boat in that price we can post it. at 500 a month for what 10yrs/15/20??. theres some older boats around 30grand and up to 50. newer boats at 100,000 to 150,000. theres a 38 top gun that went for 200,000 about 3 years back and now the bank will take 50,000. it needs to be cleaned it has 1000hp or 1100hp motors and sixe drives, I think its a 99 . I can get more info if you want. I heard bank wants 50 it from lotto this is 3rd person so it sounds sweet.

Do yourself a favor and include Sunsation's 32 Dominator in your evaluation. http://www.sunsationboats.com/
I'd put my 2008 32' Sunsation SSR up against ANY other similar sized and powered boat in ANY conditions........
In 2007, I went to the Miami Boat show to evaluate every Hi-Porformance boat manufacturer in the market place....and while I fell in love with allot of them, (AT's 33 being one of them) Sunsation came out on top by a long shot. (Styling, Innovation, attention to detail and fit and finish were the metrics I evaluated) Sunsation won two awards that year from Powerboat magazine for their 43' F-4...never in the history of PB Magazine has one boat manufacturer won two awards!! My 32' SSR was the first one ever produced and the only one in the USA with 525's........ and it was styled after the award winning F-4!!
My mind was ultimately made up after I met Sunsations Owners, Wayne and Joe Schaldenbrand....they are the most genuine dudes in this business today! Go into the owner forums and read what other Sunsation owners are saying about their rides.......This to me is the real litmus test!

With Powerboat manufacturers sucking wind today in this Lousy ecomomy of ours (Fountain just decalered Chapter 11 today believe it or not) I behooves you to evalaute Boat companies that will be around when the dust settles and our economy gets back to normal.

That's my 4 cents Good Luck!

33 with 502's? All current 33 AT's have come out of the factory with 525's, mine included.

I also have an enclosed head.
