That`s sounds like a good deal for your boat. I`m really thinking single-engine though. I would love to find a good project. It seems that I wind up redoing every boat I own anyway, so might as well buy one cheap to start with.

Hotstang46 I just checked out that website on the magic boats for sale Wow they have alot them for sale Do you know anything about these hulls? Like are they cored? Do they have a pod? Any body know how they perform? From the pictures they look like they have interior too just no power looks like a sweet deal Thanks for any info Keith

I saw on craigslist a 2003 28 magic cat with a HP500 for $42,000 on a trailer, it looks nice? Tennessee I dont know the boat or anything about magic, but in the pics it looks like a nice place to start!

$44,000. the motor has 8 hours on it. 1.36 Imco extreme drive with extension box, cmi headers, dart big m block, dart cnc 360 heads, dart intake, single 1195 pro systems dominator, bob madera hydraulic roller cam,all comp valve train, manton push rods, torrington bearing timing chain, dooley oil pan billet oil pump,ati balancer etc... not a scratch on the boat super nice clean interior, custom hatch with scoop but also still has sun pad. This is one of the fastest single engine boats in my area. it idles around the doc with no problems. this is a reliable turn key 100+ mph cat.
Has the motor been dyno'd?

it runs and idles fine around the dock. if you let it idle for a long while you need to clean it out with a rev or two but thats to be expected. with the 136 gear set its a little harder to dock with the 30" prop. idle speed is about 15 mph lol!!! it makes over 800hp on pump gas.
