Boat Head, I am running a 454 (385HP) with a 24 pitch 4-blade. Donzi says that the 24 pitch should be used with the 502 and the 22 pitch should be used with the 454. When I bought the boat in 2001 they gave me the boat with a 24 pitch and if I put 4 people on the boat it took a year to get the boat up and going. I called Donzi and they still said that was the right prop, than they sent a rep out and he drove the boat and said wrong prop. Than they said it must be a 22 pitch prop, the funny thing is they built the boat and didn't even know which prop to run. I talked to Byron at Bronson Hill and he says he can re pitch my 22 to a 23 and give me a better hole shot without losing to much top end. I have to test the boat in a few weeks to get accurate data for him. Thanks for everyones help!!!!!

What I am having done is 200, but they are not going to lab it, they are going to rework it to a 23 pitch. I think that he said labbing it would be 250 or so!!
