Default RADAR Run on the potomac

Its time for the annual radar run on the potomac. Oct 10, all classes welcome. It is held at Tims II at fairview beach. No fee to enter, cash prizes.

Where is this in relation to the Route 95 bridge? Where are the closest boat ramps for launching a 34' boat? Just curious at this point.

25 miles below/ south washington DC and or the RT 95 "Wilson Bridge" on 95 Over the potomace river is a state park called Leesylvania State Park - nice ramps and good water @ any tide, cost is $ 12.00 to launch - the radar run is 17 miles south by Water -

Further South is Hope Springs - not sure ramp availibility

There is a good ramp at www.hopespringsmarina.com with a 10 min run to Fairview. Exit 140 on 95 South.

It has been single engine V, Twin engine V, then the same for Cats, single and twin engine. Also outboard Cat, and V. Min Hawks run with the deck boats.
