Not yet. I'm trying to decide what I want to do for summer 2010. Right now, I have 1998 300 Promax's. I'm not even sure on the hours, but figure 500+ hours per motor.
I'm debating if I want to try for another summer with them vs. buying a new pair of 300XS's. My other thought was to have Eric Simon redo my 300 Promax's. I don't think it makes sense to find a pair of 300X's. Everything is going to have a lot of hours on them and I'm looking for new motors if I spend the money. Plus, I've heard the XS's run similar to the X motors, plus you gain the fuel economy of the XS. Mike The 300xs are going to give you the better fuel economy, smart craft if you want it....but it wont run with a 300 promax. Depends on what you want. The XS's run closer to the 300 promax motors, the 300x motors are far superior from a performance only stand point. |
