I spoke with Julie at Throttle-Up last week. I am a TU customer, and here is what I posted in another thread, in reference to them being closed.

As a very satisfied customer, and after speaking with them, I do not believe the above, to be an accurate statement.

They have made huge investments in machining and heat treating equipment, in recent years, and worked hard to build a reputation in the industry, as the best of the best. It is my opinion that Throttle-Up (like many other companies) may need to take some time to adjust to various market and economic conditions.

Personally, I fully expect them to continue to lead the industry in propeller design, manufacturing, and customer service.

To: Matt, Julie and the entire team at TU, best wishes for the future, keep doing what you are doing, and thank you for what you have already done.

If you call the business Number, there recording says they are closed for the season and look forward to starting the new season in 2010.

I wish them the best and an early return.

Hope they survive. I'm going to eventually need a prop from them . . .

I have tried to talk to someone there for the last couple weeks with no luck. I also left 2 messages with BBlades and haven't got a call back.

I found it kinda weird that they no longer supported or would work on props except their own in house props.
Considering 95% of performance boaters run production
props like Mercury it seems a bad move in this economic market.
I guess they know what they are doing though ..

Can't say about TU, but as far as Bblades, Brett will call you back. He seems to be swamped all the time. But when does, he will give you plenty of time. Great guy. He's done a few sets for me.
