How does the 41 ride in rough water. We looked at one at LCM Tuesday and just could not find any solid info on the hull. We measured the runing surface and it was 37ft, 41 with the bussle, so the info I heard that the bottoms were similiar made sense. I guess thats why im asking, thanks for the correct info!

Sounds like we should have drove the 41. A freind of mine and I drove to LCM for him to buy a 42, the deal went south. He looked hard at the 41, I just had no real info on it. LCM said it drove like a much bigger boat and was great in rough water. Thanks for the info. It seemed the 42 had a little more room in the cockpit. I could stretch my legs out in the rear bench and could barely touch the bolsters. The 41 I could touch, but there is ample room. The bussle on the back is very sleek and the sun pad is big enough to enjoy.

This is one of the finest examples (next to Thundersone's) out there of a clean 37 OL with 6's.. |

Should be an honest 100mph on the lake in the heat with 1 /2 to 3/4 fuel and people on the boat.

1998 37 singles step, 850sc and #5's and there you have it,,, add a few MPH if its a Bravo boat |
What did the vinylester 42's (2000-2001) run with 900's? 110mph?
Didn't realize the 42 was faster than 37 with same layup and power. Also 575's run low 90's, 850's only add 10 mph, guess the 37 hull becomes maxed out. |

Back in 1999, I purchased a 1998 37 OuterLimits, single step, side by side bravo boat, T/HP500. It was hull number 24. After one season in the low 80s, I had put about 840hp per side, Stage 3, M-3, centrifugal supercharged, intercooled, 1.36 gears, and the best ever was 114mph on GPS.
I remember the SC 900, SSM#6DS boats were running 118 or so, and they could barely shake me. The boat tracked straight, and was a wave crusher. |

If I remember correctly there was a Barnegat Bay radar shoot-out on a hot humid day, flat water, and 37' Outerlimits with the MerCruiser 900 SC package radared at 109 mph on a tough radar gun. I understood from the guys at Trenton Marine said afterwards it was a true 114 mph with that package out in the Ocean on most occasions (that I heard directly from the Trenton sales rep.) My $.02 |
The 37 Stiletto "Wild Card" that was at LOTO ran around 110mph and had around 800hp per side.
