Default warlock class euro 24

OK, SO I HAVE ONLY BEEN AN OSO MEMBER FOR A SHORT WHILE NOW (THE INFO I HAVE LEARNED JUST BY READING THE POSTS IS FANTASTIC! THIS IS A GREAT SITE!) I JUST SOLD MY FLAT BOTTOM AND BOUGHT A 89' WARLOCK CLASS EURO 24. I REALLY ENJOY THE FACT THAT THIS BOAT DOESN'T BEAT THE HECK OUT OF MY BACK AND KIDNEYS LIKE MY FLAT DID! IT'S A GREAT UPGRADE BUT IM WONDERING HOW MANY FELLOW BOATERS OWN OR HAVE OWNED THE SAME BOAT????? I HAVE NOT SEEN A LOT OF THESE BOATS ON HERE OR FOR SALE FOR THAT MATTER. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF THESE BOATS...THE GOOD AND THE BAD! I'M WONDERING IF EITHER THERE'S JUST NOT A LOT OF THEM AROUND OR ARE THEY A NICE BOAT AND PEOPLE AREN'T PARTING WITH THEM.......ANY INPUT AND PICS OF YOUR RIDES WOULD BE VERY APPRECIATED FOLKS! (I'LL POST SOME PICS AS SOON AS I FIGURE OUT HOW TO) THANKS, MARK

Mark:
Welcome. I have a 23' Warlock World Class which I believe is the same bottom as yours. Everything I have read says they are well built, great riding boats. I love mine. I have always like the Euro as well, yours looks very nice. Go into the Warlock forum and there are numerous threads about them. I have a Powerboat test on your boat as well as mine and the 28' if you are interested I could copy and fax to you. Let me know.

yea, ive heard they can get pretty squirly at higher speed. mines all stock for now. i do plain on ditching the stock steering for external in the future. more than likely before i really start doing much of anything crazy with the motor.

Nice ride

It looks exactly like a "Webcraft Velota", mostly because WC had copied their mold...... They ran pretty good with a 454, which was the biggest available for it in 1987.

Boy, that sure looks like the brochure boat, I would not be surprised if you have the Very first one built. I don't have the color brochure anymore but this is the B&W version.

In the early 90's there was one raced out west with your colors too. It said "Espresso" on the sides.

Where are you located? California?

yea, im out here in california (bay area). im glad to see that they are a liked boat. a buddy of mine sold one a few years back (i actually thought it was his when i first saw it...but it wasnt). same color, etc....but had minor differences like where the exhaust exited and where the stereo was located. i didnt really care for the look of the back of the boat (ie: molded swimsteps) when i first saw my buddies but it grew on me and its now a part of the boat that i actually really like. ive taken it out four times sense ive owned it and so far im pretty impressed. handles decent, does 65 mph and its stock (for now ), comes up on plain a lot faster than i expected it to and best of all, it doesnt beat the crap out of my back! plans for the future......headers, relocate the exhaust tips, tie a rope to the quadrajet thats on it and use it as an anchor lol! (i just like holley carbs!), external steering, very possibly a 177 or 174 blower and i'll see where that leads me.
