how did it workout? speed wise.. did the 5s rob to much power?

I know not an exact apples to apples comparision... but I had 5's on my 04 43 NorTech with 750 hp with boxes ... 82 mph when new vs my 08 lighter 43 with Merc 700's and 6's.. 92 mph, this boat was also a semi stagger.

What drive are you comparing the #5's to when you say "rob to much power"?

I can tell ya.. its a way better set up than any of the bravo's made. On my 04 4300 never had 1 issue, and RV on the board still owns the boat with out issues. He would have to comment on what he has done as to service and such. Jeff BTW congrats
