I'm not quite sure what you're looking for. 24 year old boat with not quite stock power, she will need a ton of work, and $. Don't be sold by the make of the boat. I live fairly close to Bayport and if you are "really" serious, I could take a quick look at it for you. I am by no means an expert, or a boat surveyer, but I do know boats. I am available Friday AM between 10 and 11 if needed.

Even better, I like how this had to be clarified.
"Runs great goes 80 plus mph on the water..."
So you know he dont mean on the trailer.

frakenstein, thanks for the offer to look at it, he has already been there and looked at and he likes it, i am just afraid for the money it is still cheap, i am worried that he will get the boat and find out that sonic had weak spots in the hulls or the stringers were rotting out. something that would not be able to be fixed without having to spend 10000 to repair it. engines and drives and can go over for him. but i don't know much about sonic hulls. i kind of thought it wasn't a 80 mph boat but if it does 60 mph plus that is fine. i think its gonna suck some major gas with the 850's on top of them bigblocks.

Sonic builds tough hulls, but they can have wood rot of the stringers and transom.
