The 388 hustler statrts to chime walk around 96 on up. Were the fountain is smooth as glass at the 105 mark just begging for more power. But don't get me wrong my 388 was alot of fun just not made to go over 100mph.

Why don't you try the Whipple up grade on them? Should net 840HP

I know of a set with 30 hrs motors and trannies.. for 60k if that helps you.. let me know your price..

Already have the whipple upgrade, works great gained about 4 to 5 mph. Thanks for the input.
