Only the race boats get cut down to this extent.

Is the lucas oil race boat cut down like that....?

The Lucas oil boat is roughly 2" taller.

I will be updating photo's today, rumor has it that the deck is fit and bulkheads are trimmed, and we will have an actual boat by the end of the day.

Please post how you trim the deck to fit the narrower hull. Great thread. Thank you!

What was that first layer of yellowish stuff in the mold on the first day? Was that just gel coat, or also a thin layer of glass for surface finish?
