Default general consensus of extended boat warrantys

looking for 35-38 ft boat with twin 525efi's and a/c-genset. was wondering who is the best extended warranty company to go with. engines/drives/a/c-genset/generally anything that can go wrong with it, kind of warranty.

any experience good or bad?

any refusal of claims?

how much a year?

any deductable or copay?

thanks.

If they are anything like auto extended warrantees it's usually BS and they will fight you tooth and nail for a pay-out just like any insurance company. Most extended warrantees are done by a third party. I think the best thing you could do is to get a very qualified surveyor out prior to purchase, you'll eliminate many headaches that way.

That's the best advice you can get right there.
