Albert Haynesworth has an MTI (I think)

Did anyone see the pre-game show last night. They did a small feature on Albert Haynesworth. Some sweet running shots of his boat, appears to be a 44' MTI called Hell Raiser. Sweet flames all over it.

Maybe everyone knew and I didn't but I wondered why more star athletes don't have the big Cats.

29scarab10 10-27-2009 07:42 AM

I am pretty sure that he has sold or traded that one and is having another built. He definatley had Hell Raiser at the Knoxville, TN poker run in July. Good looking boat.

Shore Thing 10-27-2009 07:47 AM

Can he make it all the way through a poker run without taking a break?

LaughingCat 10-27-2009 08:04 AM

Oh, that's good!

44MTI 10-27-2009 09:30 AM

Yes, that was a 44 MTI that he had built last yr. But he traded it in and is building a new 48 which should be at the Miami Boat Show in Feb.

BLee 10-27-2009 09:36 AM

He's also had quite a few nice Offshores up to this one as well.

It is kind of funny that you don't see more professional atheletes with killer offshore boats, especially baseball players. I can't think of any besides Pudge right now, and he's even on a "break".

Might as well post a pic or two of the boat being discussed!

Shanghied Again 10-27-2009 10:44 AM

Albert has had Yes the Fountain that fell off the trailer.
A few Outerlimits. 2 MTIs one with 700s and the new one as seen in the picture. That one is for sale or sold.
I think with his new contract he has with the Washington Redskins he has to back away from anything dangerous including superfast boats for 5 years. I hope not because he is a great guy and had a lot of fun with him on Poker Runs.. He is also easy to hide behind if you dont want to be seen :)

Tantrum 10-27-2009 10:47 AM

New one is on the way and the paint is going to be pretty wild.

That doesn't sound like he's backing away from fast boats to me! :daz::drink:

hammer01 10-27-2009 11:50 AM

Who is that great looking co-pilot he has in the last pic you put up BLee, looks like Albert is travelling with a serious crowd LOL!!!! I know there has been several other athletes that have owned boats as well, as a matter of fact our good friend Benson who left our Bears to come back and kick our Azz as a Bengal had quite the famous boating experiences down in Texas. I know Elway has always been an avid boater as he was written up in Powerboat for his custom made 36 foot old-school wooden boat that had twin Ilmors in it as well. I know some of the Bears do a lot of boating on Lake Michigan but not sure if any of them actually own their own boat, most will actually pay a huge rental fee for a day or weekend to take friends and such out though.

That is good to hear. Last time we talked the Redskins wanted him to back away from anything that can endanger his life with the 5 year contract. Albert loves boating and I couldn't see him without a boat. Will be great to see him in Miami for the Poker Run. I can't wait to see what paint scheme he has this time. His boats are always wild.

Hell Raiser Is Down In Clear Lake Texas Now:)

five cent worth 10-27-2009 01:55 PM

There are NASCAR guys all over Lake Norman that own some nice hardware. I don't know any specifics but I am sure some on here do.

Beak Boater 10-27-2009 02:48 PM

When Albert Haynesworth was at the Jax. Poker Run, he had a camara man riding with him from Espn E-60. He told us that the segment would air in Aug. sometime. Never did see the segment. He rode with Albert during the poker run and mounted some cameras in the cockpit of Hell Raiser that focused on Albert as he drove. I think that shot of him going under a bridge last night was at Jax. Poker run. Talked to Albert at the Outback Crab Shack during the rain storm at lunch. Pretty down to earth guy. Posed for some pictures with our friends.

The segment was on ESPN last night before the game... Only about a minute or so on the boat. E-60 said the boat runs about 160

otis311 10-27-2009 05:31 PM

i was on the boat in Islamorada with him and David Woods and they ran it up to 137 mph....It was a nice run. Id never been that fast on a boat before

jdub 10-27-2009 05:38 PM

The full episode of E-60 is on ESPN tonight at 7:00

Hung with the ESPN crew for a bit in Jax. They were on the Buckman Bridge w/Lori to shoot the run. There is a little footage there from St Pete as well.

Love the paint on Hellraiser.

I watched it, and it was good! They had quite a bit of footage of the boat, and IN the boat. He talked about the whole boat, how much he loves boating, and why he named it Hellraiser. :evilb:

According to the show, he also has another love off the field. They showed his BAD ASS rock crawler, that he's had everything available done to. It's based on a classic Land Cruiser, but is all custom from there, and looks like it's been done right top to bottom:

Albert is as nice a guy as you will meet.

Then you see that incident with the Cowboys' center and you realize the Jekyll/Hyde personality it takes to play ball at that level.

By the way, that is me in the 700's boat during Jax 2008. :)

He could not have been nicer.

Actually I was just joking that he had Woodsy with him throttling for that run I believe. I know for sure for the Powerboat pics he had Woodsy with him throttling in Hell Raiser, great shots of the boat too!!! Did someone on the board pick it up from down in Texas as someone stated. I know he enjoyed using it so I would guess it had a few hours on it. The Monday Night Football shots of it seemed to be on a small lake in Tennessee I believe, anyone know which one?

chattviper 10-28-2009 10:20 AM

Its the lake in knoxville. the Lazzara was also on a lake in Knox.

I believe the boat was in the Clear Lake Texas area last weekend: saw it (or a twin) on Taylor Lake.

Can't miss it!
