Drive rebuilt by Kevin who I work with who understands how they're meant to be assembled and they ran great!

First proper sea test yesterday and it was a confused sea off Salcombe with wind over tide and all sorts - got some great photos and it was doing 64mph in all of that, got on the plane easily enough but we may run out of revs in flat water - might have to get some bigger props!

Now even more confident of exceeding our 70mph target with the rough water performance that close.

I'm the one that had a shave yesterday!

As I said in the post above - 64mph in some horrible water and as it was the first proper run out we wanted to take it easy and make sure everything was OK - a reasonable speed for two 260hp 3 litre diesels I think in a 34' boat.

Very happy with the handling and especially the visibility at slow speeds and also when going quickly.

We are going to need bigger props - getting quite a bit of slip off the existing ones but they will be good rough water props!
