Well, on a Houston radio this morn, a guy "claimed" to know the car owner. He said the car owner was not driving the car and the driver was not fully insured. Also said the estimate to repair car is in the $500K range. Also said that it was a case of a dropped cell phone. Don't shoot the messenger, it's what I heard on the radio!

Not to flare up another thread, but I called it as insurance fraud from the first day.....the video just comfirms it. Guy is not a rich guy out looking at properties, he is just a car dealer that got caught dumping a car in a lake!
The car is owned by Andy House, a Lufkin auto salvage company owner (buys, rebuilds then sells insurance totalled vehicles for a living). Guy has owned this car for less than a month. Wreck car, get insurance settlement and fix it for less than that amount and sell car while keeping the "profit."
