I heard that they wanted to do some record attempt in Miami on the boat show weekend?? Is there any truth to that?

Supposed to be the weekend of the SBI race/kilo. on Jan. 25 in Sarasota, I think. That is if the boat is ready.

I see this boat is forsale. Did it ever get close to the projected 240+ mph? Why is it forsale? What were the exact mechanical problems that accompanies this boat/project?

Basically what's the deal? Just curious.
