Default Jesel Rocker Shafts

Jesel is having a 30% off sale on their Pro Series Rocker Shafts for Canfield heads..

According to Jesel, the pro series is the next step up from the Sportsman Series.

Anyone work with the Pro Series? Good? Bad? Worth it?

30% off is a nice savings.. They sell for $1649 with the 30% off they are $1155..

I wonder if that has to do with Canfield's becoming so hard to come by? They built a bunch of rocker setups for a head that became unavailable.

Shaft rockers on canfied heads take alot of machine work

Machine work? humm.. that is not in the cards for the winter.. I have one/two more seasons on the motor before I pull it apart.. I was hoping this would be a simple bolt on install.. at least that is what the tech guy said..

T&D is also an option.. wonder if they have any special now that canfield is out of business

Unless you are running a solid roller with over 750 psi spring pressure, then the Sportsman series will bolt right up without any machine work. I have used them over 1400 hp without one problem.

Thanks Eddie.. My cam is rather mild actually.. The rockers they have are the Pro Series.. They sold all of the Sportsman Series for the canfields already..

John you might check with T&D i run them on my AFR's and they were bolt on but it does take a lot of set up to get them right. Also chances of your pushrods you have now working with any shaft rocker would be just luck.

Thanks Mike. I am looking at the T&D also.. But 30% off for a Pro Series Jesel setup is a great deal..as long as they are bolt on that is..
Why did it take a lot to get it right? Want to do mine?? haha..

Perhaps it might be easier to just grab a new set of rockers and nuts.. skip the girdle... atleast I can keep my push rods..
