Opinion on a black boat

Black is the best looking color until it gets wet, then it just looks dirty. I had a P29 Scarab that had about an 8 inch wide stripe on the bow that was black and you couldn't even touch it when the sun was up. Yes a black boat looks cool but thats it everything else sucks about it and you have less of a chance to sell it. Donzi built a black boat for the stupid Miami Vice movie and had to paint it to sell it.

The deck would look good in silver with maybe a dark red boot stripe

I'd be much happier if Mirage did the side of my boat black all the way to the back. Guess I stuck with the 1990 look , unless spend some $$$ to redo the gel . Black is beautiful !

Fred you are correct they repainted it black because it was scrached up from the movie we used it for the islemarada poker run rite after that, Donzi told us you can walk on the deck with shoes, were repainting it... Really was not to scrached but they wanted to sell a nice clean boat. the deck was so hot you could not walk without shoes and you could feel the heat in the cockpit coming off the boat. not for me.
