Is it time to mandate full faces and hans devices? To "reduce" severe injury?

I like the hans device idea, however full time air without a full face might make rescue easier. None of these will help though unless canopy/capsule construction technology improves

Default sad

Its very sad indeed.Weather rescue crews were on the scene fast enough or not-theres alot to be learned (as always) with a tragic accident.I see from the video that they had no full time air which is shocking to me and also see that they looked very loose in there seats and/or restraints.

What a bummer!

I know that they are in a better place, and I pray for peace for their family members.

Hopefully some good comes out of this in the form of safer racing by requiring racers at this level to have manditory full time air, proper restraints, and correct helmets and neck protection.

May God be with them in their ongoing adventure in life.

Chris
