Well I have to not go with optimas not sure which I will go with but I ordered Billet batt boxes not for optimas for group 27 so we will see in the spring maybe I will look into those interstates

I have always had good luck with Vita-Plate or Deca batteries. Replacing them only after 4-5 seasons. I use 2 group 24 1000 mca for starting and 1 group 27 deep cycle for the stereo system. I got about $300 into batteries that I get 4-5 years out of, These Batteries are U.S.A. made by East Penn.
I wouldn't mind spending more on batteries if I would get more in return, but it's hard to justify with all the stories of people getting short life out of the high end batteries. Anyways thats my .02
