Back on topic......when are the motors going in the Cigarette?? I remember the blue 1000hp Zul boat ran very well as well. Right around that 100 mark. Stinson would be one to comment on that.

I believe Doug will have a nice running and very fast boat for what it is. You can probably make 1500 hp if you put enough alky to it, but that doesn't make for a good poker run boat to run 200 plus miles in a run. As I said before I'm anxious to see how it turns out (because I own a straight hull tiger), but there is going to reach a point where you overpower the hull without bottom mods and major set up/drive changes, no one has put really huge power in a straight hull from what I've seen, the most is 102-108 mph with about 1150 hp, some T/S may be faster, but I want to see the numbers on a side by side #6 boat.
As Bill said above, the key is reliability, breaking sucks.
