We are thinking about renting a house down there and bringing our boats. Wanted to know are they go fast friendly, and also is there places to go and visit by boat.
Thanks

I read a story that if the house has Jap Drywall, it has to be re-rocked and re-wired. The insurance companies dont want to hear anything about it either. Just what the state of Florida needs.......

They found problems with the US stuff too.

Anyway negativity aside, Cape Coral is a great place to have a house if you enjoy boating. Great access and affordability compared with the rest of FL.
Even if the gulf has 10' seas, which rarely happens, you can boat all day long at speed in the sound without going outside.
Although a lot of the good deals have been snapped up there is still plenty to chose from.
And of course Nor-Tech is what makes this area truly great!
