The performance guys should really at least have some sort of showing there. Just my .02
I was at the show too and the only thing that caught my attention was the detail on some of those old wood boats. Im not really a fan of those boats, but you can sure appreciate the time and effort that went into them!

I can't beleive you would let some little hospitalization get in the way of your good time

We really never have anything performance boats at our show except the eliminator dealer.

I thought it was strange when I looked at the Chicago show that Shogren wasn't even listed.
Is that true?

No they weren`t there. There was ONE performance boat at the entire show.. It was a Formula Fastech.
The rest were cruisers and runabouts..etc.. BOOOORIIING
I`ve been going for a few years but it was a waste of time and $.. I won`t be going again.

I used to attend all the powerboat shows in my area in the past. But with the economy the way it is, I have to watch my money just like everyone else. I'm sorry ... but I am not going to spend money to go to a boat show when there is basically nothing there performance wise that interests me. My pockets don't run deep ..... maybe it would be different if they did. I feel bad for the boating industry right now .... but I feel worse for some of my neighbors that are now in foreclosure.
