We have all our policies with State Farm so when we bought our boat last september I approached them about getting a policy on it. The boat is a 24' Sunsation Aggressor with a stock 415hp 502, they denied the policy stating the HP to Length ratio was not acceptable. Maybe that is the case here with state farm also???
