No Kenny. I don't personally know what he offered and it's none of my business but I know it was solid and ready to go.:coolcowboy:

So your comparing a 10 year old 42 at a repo yard on resale numbers on an Outerlimits?? You seem to always post negatively about Outerlimits.

I hope he was just posting to show what was new on the market, that 42 still looks very nice and clean. What woud it cost for a full padded hatch and swim platform on that 42 ? They have it listed with 900's but I hear they are new 750's.

wasn't too long ago when it seemed like every 51 made was listed......

Anarchy Powerboats 03-17-2010 02:16 PM

XR's are fine with the 600 sc pkg. Anything beefier and you will only lose the benefit of the supercharger to parasitic loss.

Good question, I have no idea, whatever the market will bear? :)

It looks like it has an enclosed cockpit so I wonder if that increases or decreases the market for it? Sure is nice to look at!

whats the asking price? its a beautiful boat. if anything like the car business a car that sits more than 120 days is a losing deal, this is 2 model years deep? wow

I saw this one about month ago. It was pulled out of the boattel and few guys were waxing it. Really sharp in person

Nice colors and graphics.

I'll pass the link along to my friend who's in the market. However, I don't know if he wants a sit-down boat.

So now that the 51' I started this thread about is open to offers, how does that sound?

Panther 04-16-2010 09:35 PM

Ttt

Panther 07-20-2010 08:21 PM

The 51' s still available if anyone is interested. :)

The owner used it last weekend, still awaiting delivery of the new one which will hopefully be very soon.

He also has a 42' Cig with 1200's and #6's available if anyone is interested.

Panther 10-08-2010 10:40 AM

Price in classifieds for this 51' has just been lowered.

goodlooking boat,I cant belive the low prices on these boats in this economy.

ApachePete 10-08-2010 11:33 AM

Unfortunately for sellers, prices will continue to fall, IMO.

Like real estate, down-side is another 25%.

Up-side, nada.

DaveP 10-08-2010 12:51 PM

She will sell for around $260-$250k when all is said and done.

She is a SUPER CLEAN boat. Open checkbook is an understatement! :)

You are right, that is a very nice looking boat in person. I was traveling on Route 195 in NJ going to court one day (last year or the year before) and rode next to that boat for a few miles checking it out, it is one very nice boat. And I agree with your price range of about $250K-$260K, and at that price that would be a great deal for what you (the buyer) will get. Nice looking boat, nicely powered, clean. It will sell.

Thanks Dave P, it's a great boat. We made a few runs together this summer. One in particular was pretty rough and 51 stopped to wait up for the others twice.

Kenny, Kenny, Kenny, always positive. Before typing you gotta pull ur head out of ur azz though! ;)

At least the X dimension on this one is equal and mounting holes aren't oblong like a guy I know who's name starts with K :)
