where's everyone going this weekend? Saturday we are headed to Brew fest in burlington...staying the night at the boat house then coming back across the lake at some point on sunday....we are going to trailer down to Peru and put in there...as of right now thats the plan atleast...if the weather looks real nice for both days we may just make the hike all the way from RP to Burlington.

Just happened to be checking for this weekend... I was going to take a trip South down towards Essex area, then I saw this

.THE LAKE CHAMPLAIN FORECAST...
.TODAY...SOUTH WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS...BECOMING SOUTHWEST IN THE
AFTERNOON. WAVES 2 TO 4 FEET...SUBSIDING TO 1 TO 3 FEET IN THE
AFTERNOON. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY. SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAY
PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL AND HEAVY RAINFALL.
.TONIGHT...SOUTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 25 KNOTS...DECREASING TO 10 TO
20 KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT. WAVES 2 TO 4 FEET. PATCHY FOG.
.SATURDAY...SOUTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 20 KNOTS...INCREASING TO 15 TO
25 KNOTS IN THE AFTERNOON. WAVES 1 TO 3 FEET...BUILDING TO 3 TO
5 FEET IN THE AFTERNOON. A CHANCE OF SHOWERS.
WINDS AND WAVES MAY BE LOCALLY HIGHER IN THE VICINITY OF THUNDERSTORMS.
THE LAKE CHAMPLAIN LAKE LEVEL AT THE KING STREET FERRY DOCK IN BURLINGTON
WAS 96.20 FEET...AND THE WATER TEMPERATURE WAS 72 DEGREES.

Not a great outlook for boating in a 22 footer
