When researching make sure to take good look at the beam. concepts are very narrow, little over 8 ft that makes them fast but might not ride as well as you would like. My 34 fountain has a 9' 6 beam runs very well in the rough stuff.

I plan to ride all of the ones I'm interested in.
I rode a 32 Donzi w/ twin 300's - it rode real well. Very solid boat. I also have an opportunity to check out a 35 Donzi. Fountain's factory is 2 hours away. I plan to get Wyatt to let me ride some of thiers too. Still the Concept has "the look" of a go fast. . . . . . . . .

I really don't want to go smaller than 32. I boat in the lower Chesapeake bay and it is ALWAYS snotty out there - that is why I bought a Top Gun. But now I am looking for easy to care for.

This is very true, also Concepts are very lite. SO they are faster but ride rougher, but get great fuel economy. We have a 27 Concept 300 Verado run 60mph but can go all day on 20 gallons.

Hi Bill.. Sold and rode both Donzi and Concept.. The Concept is a CC Performance boat made off the Apache hull. She is the best looking. wild paint jobs. But with twins never break 65mph
A blast to drive.

Donzi: I would go with a 35 Daytona.. Not a T-Top boat, radar arch, can handle rough water and you can get some really nice paint schemes. runs about the same 62-65 mph

Most Center Consoles with twins run below 70 only because they affected by wind, unlike a closed bow boat. The Center console is like a brake in the center of the boat and when you drive one you can here the wind hitting the console, The radar arch is faster then a T-top but also serves a brake for wind. but when looking at a CC the gains outway the faults. Great Party boat. Great for Coves, bar hopping, quiet, can hold a lot of people and very easy to maintain.
Best of Luck.
