reread the post. I paid cash for the baby Baja instead of buying a $200k boat and making payments. Honestly the only way i'll buy another v bottom is if it were the Baja 420 pace boat. that boat makes my heart race everytime i see it. if wasn't for the wife, i'd have randy's tnt eliminater daytona sittin at home already :-(

My brothers first boat was a small Baja runabout from the late 90's. Cheap and nice. He's first boat. To him, worth everything. Polished the crap out of it.

Well people hopefully like what they have. We still have our big cruiser - haven't decided on new yet. Looked at Fountains last year. If we do buy a Fountain, we'll hopefully enjoy it. If we should opt for a Baja, we'll probabley like that just as much. Enjoy the boat you have. If you just spend your time looking down on other peoples stuff - well whats the point? Are you missing something in your life?

Just a thought.

Happy boating, be safe.

Cool video Jason, I have seen that one before when playing around on utube. That boat is toooo fast!!! Its people like you that screw me up. I used to be happy in 16' tri hulls. Then years later after I got my Baja I got into the speed trap. The beer taste the same no matter what boat you have. The girls in the boat look the same, well they should unless you have a bunch of gold diggers. When we were young having fun was more important than what boat you had.

I have had 2 a 97 212 put 600+ hrs on 2000 29 outlaw put 700 + hrs on. Several of those on LOTO! NO major issues just normal maint and GAS thats it. No complaints.
Moved up to the 1 and have had some issues to say the least. But most is because of LACK of maint by previous owner.
IF is wasnt for the BAJA and getting my feet wet in the PER boat world probably wouldnt have the BIG RED 1 right now.
