Clarion speakers
I'm trying to upgrade my stereo piece by piece. I just replaced my tired head unit with a new Sony Marine unit. While testing everything out I noticed my clarion 6 1/2 speakers have no highs. The midrange works but the tweeters are not working. I can't access the back without pulling them. And I can't seem to figure out how to get the grills off. Any ideas or things to check on why the tweeters arn't firing. I know I should just replace them. I want to just buy 4 new speakers and woofer but right now I gotta do things slowly or I won't have any money for gas n' beer. I still havn' figure out which one is more important.

the covers will either be a snap fit or they will twist on/off. Start with the twisting to see if that works befors trying to pop them off. I dont think you will be able to see why they dont work unless you pull the speakers. UNless for some reason you had more then one pair of speakers wires running from the speakers to the head unit....

I know they're junk. I've got my eye on some MB Quart speakers but I'm only gonna buy 1 set for now and the Clarions are they less junky set of speakers that I already have.
