Default Hudson River Fun Run May 15th 2010

Here is the plan
Meet at the Hudson Water club (www.hudsonwaterclub.com) at 10 am. Leave there at 11am and head South to NYC, Statue of Liberty and head out of the Harbor to the Ocean. (Depending upon Weather and Water Conditions). From there, we will head back up to the Hudson Water Club for lunch where there will be a band on the outdoor patio and the restaurant will be expecting us and all attendees. Later on lets go boating again, somewhere around 3-4pm we can head back out onto the river and head up to the Bear Mtn Bridge or possibly the Newburgh Beacon depending upon what time we leave. Once we are done, we can trailer over to the Hudson Water Club once again and have dinner and some shop talk.
Tim Sharkey will be taking photos and Will from Heavy Metal Concepts will be taking video.
Fuel can be obtained at Liberty Landing near the Statue of Liberty or at Panco near the restaurant.

Launching:
Launching can be done at the Cannonball Yacht Club for $25 per vessel. They are able to accommodate all vessels. GLH with Drambuie on Ice was able to launch last year without an issue. The physical address is 29 Hudson Dr Stony Point NY 10980.
Please give me a head count so I can make sure we have ample seating.
See you all there!

Just 4 weeks away !!!!

Who's coming ???

Sharkey-Images has a Special Offer for the 2010 Mahopac Marine Hudson Spring Fun Run.
Advanced notice and payment necessary.

As of now, shots will be taken from the water as was in the Fall Run.

Special Offer:

Up to 5 - Hi Resolution Digital Downloads (Personal Use Only) of your choice from the event for just $100 .

That is just $20 per image VS the list price of $125 each.

The $100 needs to be paid prior to the start of the event so I know who I need to shoot.

100% Money Back Guarantee !!!

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the images upon review of the Proofs on the website and prior to Downloading the Hi Resolution Images, you may request a Full Refund.

We all know the complications of getting great images of boats at high speed or for the potential breakdowns God forbid.

I am not here to keep anyone's money unless they are satisfied with the images..

1 Person can contest to that from last year as his boat only made 1 pass by me and was not in the best of positions for any decent shots. He was refunded. Hopefully we have another chance this time!

Those of you that want me to shoot your boat, please email me with your information:

Name
Address
Phone #
Email Address
Boat Make & Size (include a small pic if possible)

Let's hope for great sunny skies and a good safe run !

See ya there !!!

This is just a respectful gathering of boaters getting together to boat together on the Hudson River. Basically run what you brung or what you feel safe in.

I ran my Bullet 130 2 years in a row in the NPBA NY Hudson River Poker Run.
I do know how bad that river can get...

See Powerboat Mag's Dick De Bartolo's comments .

Bring whatever you have. This is what it says....... A FUN run. No stress, no one gets left behind and everyone enjoys themselves. We look forward to meeting you.

I'm planning on it!

Gonna try and sneak away from diaper duty in the next couple weeks to go for a test drive and break in the fresh engine.

Fingers crossed I'll be there! Probably meet up with you down south and head north for lunch.
