Kirk has been awesome to deal with, I started dealing with him last month with just getting an estimate on a new set gauges for my Hustler Slingshot. After a couple of emails it was decided best to just send him my old gauges to get them refaced. I also was in the middle of pulling out the cockpit interior and I needed some mega cup holders to be used for mock up. I was on a short time schedule, he understood my concern and he shipped next day air 4 mega cup holders to my house without even paying for them, yet. I've had questions about other products and he's been quick respond to my emails and answer my questions.

I know nothing of that boat, but I must confirm what has already been said about Kirk: it's always a pleasure to do business with him.

Kirk is a straight shooter. I have been in the boat that you are looking at and it is a very nice boat that runs well.

There is an entire thread about the restoration of that boat on MWBP. The owner of CMMS is a regular poster and put the boat together to run in the Support the Troops Poker Run at LOTO.

Well the more and more I read about the guys that had hands in this boat the more I want it. It is a clean looking boat and from all of the posts it looks like they did it up right to match.

Does anyone have an opinion on a price? He is asking 16900. He said he would add a marine grade stereo and speakers. Any words of wisdom?????

Maybe I'm missing it, but how is Kirk and Elite involved in this boat? I don't see it listed on his site.

I would keep in mind that a black boat will be very hot in the summer heat.

Kirk is a great guy to deal with, fair pricing, and prompt shipping. Stands behind what he sells and went out of his way to make sure things are right. He is usually my first email when I have a list of parts to fill.

I am probably going to take a bunch of heat for this. I do like 22 Scarabs, but Wellcrafts build Quality is not the best(sealing stuff etc.), and think Kirk, and Elite marine are great, but I think this is a lot more boat for similar $$.

Well, Kirk would probably agree with me, the 22 Scarab is a Decent boat, but the Sonic is SWEET!!!!!!!!

That guy said the TRS is way stronger the a bravo. Ive seen this boat listed a few times. Sounds like he is a bit behind the times. I havent heard anyone say "please make sure it has a TRS i dont want those weak bravos"

The TRS is stronger then a bravo...only issues people have with them is that they dont make them any more...parts are getting a little harder to find but still can be bought....the fact they use a transmission for shifting...and add more weight to the boat then a bravo does...but i wouldnt hesitate to get a TRS boat over a bravo if thats the only limiting factor between two boats i was looking at :D
Plus you also have the option of upgrading to a Konrad if the TRS ever gets to the point that you cant do anything with it.

I have only great experience from dealing with Kirk. I have made many over seas orders (I'm located in Sweden) from him and he's a stand up guy!!!

I would definately not worry a bit about buying a boat from him!

I was actually shocked when I picked up this boat and ran in Loto. It handled way better than I thought for a 22' and the black is a matte or satin finish wasnt hot at all. I have a friend that had a back tiple Fountain, you couldnt touch the boat in the sun at all. Actually gave people blisters.

For some reason this boat was not hot at all.

This boat runs great, handles great and has a bullet proof engine/drive package. The next owner will be very pleased.

If u get the stereo in and all the stuff u said in ur emails then we would love to buy it. The price is right up my ally. We would love to own it and enjoy it for the next few years. This is a very clean boat, especially being a 1996. The previous owner did a great job with the motor/drive install and the stealth black matte paint is really unique. Should be about as maintenance free as a performance boat gets.

We had numerous people in the Ozarks telling us how cool that boat was.

Again, thanks for the support and kind words. I have had great dealings with everyone on here with absolutely no issues. Thats amazing in todays world.

well I meet Kirk and everyone is right he is a 100 percent stand up guy. He was awsome and very accomadating and a great guy to know. I think that he just sold his Scarab. It is exactly what he said it was. For that size boat it handled and rode awsome. It sounds sweet and the paint looks incredible. We really liked it.

How did you beat me to this, you arent even home yet??? Hope you had a safe trip.

You and your wife are wonderful people and like I said, make sure that whatever you buy it suits your needs and budget.

So I guess you arent outing me as a liar, thief and full of BS?? So I still have everyone fooled!

Yeah we had a great trip! Haha if u like driving in a car for 10 hours. We liked the boat alot and thought u were a great guy. I posted when we stopped to eat that's how I beat u to it. Can't wait to get all of the legal stuff done so we can get the boat on the water and see what she's got.
