Hello folks ... where the best place to obtain a Merc 496 (mag) scan tool? Or does anyone have one they'd like to part with?? Ray - Raylar maybe??

I have one I think I got it from Rinda ??? I think I paid about 400+ for it. I will never part with mine as long as I own this motor. It tells you everything on the ECM. It is a very cool tool to have with these motors. Just bite the bullet and get one you will be happy with it.

also order the service manual #30,and #33,from a merc dealer,,,for the 496 engine,,a must if you plan on doing the work yourself,,,imo
