Hey guys , most likely some of you have seen this thread on other sites .......... but still worth looking at .

Hey guys this is the old Don Q Rum boat which was waiting in the back forty at Skater to be cut up ............................ & now has a New Deck , Cockpit Panels , Custom Hatch , Added tunnel support , Firewall , and last but not least New Gas Tanks with the same materials that were purchased from Douglas Marine do do the job along with the new deck .

These next few pics will show the custom hatch that was cut into the deck which allows access underneath the deck where there will be a porta potty and a berth in the future .

These next few pics will show were new cockpit panels were glassed in and might i mention that this boat originally was setup with F16 fighter canopies and now has a new pleasure deck that was bonded to the hull.

The next few pics will show what all is involved in doing the tanks on this boat ( Skater ) using the same materials that were purchased from Douglas Marine / Skater and done to the tee .

These next pics are all about re doing the tanks from making and fitting the baffles before the re-worked lids go on to finish the job .

Just trying to make sure all the baffles will be level across the top before glassing the lids on .
