If my XR can take over 1000 lbs, I'll bet those #6's will work out just fine.

For the props, I'd suggest moving up slowly. When I went 35 to 37 we encountered a turbo lag [hole] that is very hard to overcome without standing out on the bow. We still need allot more pitch up top, but also gonna need juiced to light off first.
However I'm diesel fueled and not twins either.
