With the fuel prices rising and the new 300xs opti. so good on fuel, I was thinking of a good new rough water v bot. that I can hang some ob,s on. A 322 velocity cut down like the race boat would be great. But what elese?

We are eager to build a new 33AT for the right owner with a couple of outboards on the back of it.
However, crb76 made a great post on the +/- of IO vs OB on a couple of his boats complete with $$ and %% calculations. See if you can dig it up via search.

superboat Y2KCC is an outboard and comes in both single and double configurations.
Here's one being built: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...oat-30-cc.html

30' Phantom with twin 300 Mercury XS, have at it.
He used to build a 29' outboard model, the existing 30' model would be ideal (same boat as the SVL winners), here is the pleasure version of a 30'. This can be made with O/B, no problem.
