Default HORBA sad news

HORBA is very sorry to have to report the death of one of our Board members......John Crouse.

He was 79 years old and died of an injury from a fall at home.

Burial was private.

He was a true pioneer of offshore.....may he rest in peace.

Unhappy john crouse

Sad to hear! John was a good friend and last time he was In St Petersburg, we spent a long time at the Pier and then went to SPYC for more refreshments. I've got one of his books, personally signed and with a nice statement. He was one great writer. He will be missed. R.I.P. Gary

Very sorry to hear - he was a very interesting fellow. I had the priviledge to meet him a few years ago at the Miami Boat Show.

He was working on his follow up book about all of the "bad boys" of offshore racing in the 80's.

God Speed John....you and Don get to hang out now once again.

John Crouse has been my friend since 1976 when I first met him. What a guy!
His Tex jock handle described him well.
May he rest in peace.
