The new Spectre looked great in Havasu and sounded great during the shoot out.

I heard a lot of talk from people interested in seeing it and happy to see Spectre hopefully coming back stronger than ever!

no way would anyone run a boat with bravo's at 166mph, don't buy it. that drive would not last a minute with enough power to push that hull that fast, would take 1300's, just crazy dangerous

looked like it was running pretty good during the poker run :drink:

Is this the boat Rolf of Proroc brought out there ?

I have a VIDEO LINK of that boat running on my website:

http://www.sharkey-images.com/speedonthewater.html

I would assume those drives are not stock Bravos.

Proroc developed their own prop shafts and gears I believe to make the drives hold up. They never broke on the Tsunami Spectre Cat that usually ran in the top 10 crowd on the NY HUDSON RIVER POKER RUN.

downgoessunkin - i understand your point on Bravo's, but correct they are not 'just' bravo's....actually IMCO SCX's, with a #6 drive prop shaft. Rolf at Pro Roc has done some modifcations for handling high HP. Should have probalby clarified that....what we menat was a 'bravo style drive'. They can handle the 950 HP that is pushing the boat, which does runs 166mph+.

BTW....the black ultraleather did not get hot in the AZ sun!!!

This is just the beginning of Spectre...there are lots of new things to come....the company and new ownership will make it stronger then ever. Stay tuned.....

understood lightning, but there is no possible way a 36 spectre runs 166+ with 950 hp
