Default Prop Finishing Value

What does everyone feel the value is for the following - assuming stock Mercury Marine information and what would be a fair price to charge?

1. True advertised pitch
2. True advertised dia.
3. Actually balanced
4. Satin Finish

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

That would depend on what props you are talking about and who did the work on them.

Won't most reputable PropScan shops check your props for free and give you a report? (Of course, they ALWAYS find something wrong with them that requires work...)

Let me clarify - if you were to pay to have these services provided on stock Merc products - assuming you dinged one or had minor damage, what do you think is a fair and reasonable price, assuming the work was as described without issue. Bravo type props not SSM's

Thanks Again.

More clarity......if this service could be provided for $185/prop, return shipped ground to the U.S...is it something that any of you would have interest in?

It cost me ~$150 to have 2 props pre-season conditioned. Balance, true pitch back up and satin finish. (no damage just do it every couple of years)
They charged me $135 to repair a prop after hitting a tree under water. Weld, repitch, balance and satin finish.

That is the price for about 2 hrs of prop labor at BBlades and I would guess that would be in the range of what he charges for the same service + return shipping which is about $25/prop.
I would just use BBlades.

BBlades just did my 26" Bravo's. Labbed, added tip cup, polished and made them 27's.

$360 per prop. They turned out great. Can't wait to try them.

NO Issues with BBlades - but, they are not the only ones that can fix a prop correctly. Just trying to determine where the market is.
