stepped hull dilema

Formula install them just ahead of the forward step on the 370SS and 400SS. They work fine at WOT on both boats

Ive personally never had any luck getting a reade off a transducer in a planing hull no matter where its placed.

MAYBE you can get a reading off a simple bottom finder (just a #) but any kind of detailed bottom track at speed - nope.

Thanks for all the great feedback guys,I'll check and see if I can get it foward of the first step ,if not I figure as close to the transom as possible will have to do !!! thanks again for all the quick responses....Rich
