Fairview Beach is a great spot on the Potomac. It is a few miles north of the 301 Bridge, on the south side (VA) of the bend where the river heads east. Great little restaurant. Lots of raft-ups. Watch out for the crap traps. Also, across from Leesylvania State Park (VA) there is Mattawoman Creek. LOTS of raft ups and parties in there too. You will find myself and CheckmateF1 at both places when we run the river.
