Default Lake Cumberland Next Week

We have a houseboat rented from Grider hill for 4 days starting Wednesday of next week. Anyone near the lake for a debris report? I know they got hit pretty hard, and I am worried that it will be a mess Anyone else going to be down there next week?

I hope that the drop will flush some of the crap out. The lake is right about 700 right now, so if they drop it back to 680 or so, hopefully that will help.

Grider Hill is my home marina. Lucky thing you are on the best end of the lake as far as water quality and debris. The debris should not be an issue around GH or the dam up to Jamestown, but beyond that as you go up lake it could be an issue. Check out the forums on www.Lakecumberland.com for updates on the lake condition.

Have fun

How do you like this image from Lee's Ford? Every time I think of Cumberland all I can envision are logs floating around.

That is the outcome of 12" of rain over a 24 hour period. Lets not make people think that is how LC is all the time. I have been down to LC quite a few times and never had trouble with logs/debris.

I was there on Monday at the west end, Jamestown. There was a fair amount of debris, but not real bad. We are going down, next week, ourselves, so I hope it is clean, by then.
