They were like that when i bought it. It had k&n's on it so im assuming thats why they were cut.

Black & carbon fiber. It is hard to make yourself sand a polished motor.

C'mon Jim thats an easy fix 2pr valve covers & 2 air cleaners plus I know you know where to find them too!

The KE was in my 1st boat a 28 Pantera!

OK THANKS FOR THE INFO. I'M GETTING READY TO PUT A K&N FILTER ON MINE, SO I MAY WANNA SEE IF MINE HAS TO BE CUT BEFORE IT PAINT IT. THANKS AGAIN
