Default Help - Getting engine hatch open with no power

I have a 30 foot formula that I need to get the engine hatch open, but the batteries are drained. I have plugged in the shore power but nothing is getting power as far as I know. This boat is new to me and I just picked it up last fall and put it in storage. The storage facility was supposed to trickle charge the batteries, but probably tried to do this to late. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hook a wire to a good battery and then hook it to back of the hatch switch on the dash.

Default easy

just lift the hatch part way by hand. Look under it you should see the lift ram. Have a friend pull the pin out of the lift ram. Then use something to prop the hatch up the rest of the way.

Not all older boats have this system.
