The above deserves an explanation....Earlier posts in this thread involved another OSO member. The complicated exchange was discreet, intended to include finesse.....The intent was all in good clean fun.....Sorry for the distraction.

The boat still had a few loose ends to tie up, but we went back to the trailer to finish it. Lumber was special ordered for the bunks: top boards 6"x14"x312", side boards 4x8x312" rough cut Douglas Fir timbers.
After planing mounting reliefs in all the boards, the were attached to the trailer and bonded together. Templates were then made of the bottom of the boat so the boards could be shaped to nest inside the tunnel. The tunnel is flat toards the front of the boat, but creates a very slight V towards the back. Once this shape was replicated onto the bunks, the edges were all shaped, knots and imperfections sealed with epoxy sealer, and boards were painted with sealer.
Short pyle 80 oz commercial carpet was doubled on top, single on the side, and attached with stainless staples.

I might have missed it, but what do you use for engine flushing?
(Spoke with my friend Bruce Bullock when I put the Jag in the water Thursday. He couldn't believe the amount of money, time, and detail that you've put into the Motion; he was amazed and in awe!)
