GMHD,
was great seeing you again!!
I was at the Bill "Park-a-rosa" and snuck on line for a bit.
BTW, Sneek on the GM dudes laptop? Ha! right! I think Terry has that thing handcuffed to himself. ;)

Bob's buying free drinks after his win?

I'm all over that !!!!
(ain't it fun startin a good rumor?) :p

Daze,
Sorry I missed ya dude! I hope you're gonna make it to Marathon.

Catmando,
We were doing about 55 to 60 mph, a ways behind the pace boat on our way to the parade lap. Dang the boat felt good, right up to the point where it came slowly to a stop. ;(
I've never seen a shaft break like that, and everybody we talked to has never seen a shaft break like that. The weird part was I think it was a new shaft, with a little bit of test time on a flat lake, and the time it took us to get to the course.
I'm not positive as to who talked to who, but it sounds like Imco has been contacted, and to their credit, it sounds like Solarized is being taken care of.
Look out Marathon,
GM Vortec/Solarized Racing has something to prove!!

Thanks for all your kind words and support! I first must confess that Todd Blythe was driving. Apparently there was a minor mistake during registration listing me as the driver. Anyway, it was nice to meet so many OSO members and put faces with names ie; Dangerkitty and Gordo.
We almost didnt make the race due to a trailer bearing melting on the way to the ramp, minutes before the race.
The race was very choppy with 3-6' waves. "Wild Rose" and "Carrabbas" put on one heck of a show for several laps untill the Halon fire extinguishers went off accidently in "Wild Rose". Jimmy Spears and Bobby vow to get even at the next race, and were great sports after the race.
Plans are in the works for a promotional event before the NJ Grand Prix event in August. I'll keep everyone posted!
We would also like to thank all the OSO members who posted photos to keep fans apprised of the race.
Thanks again for OSO's members support!
Bob G.

Bodyshot,
Did you get the Sutphen yet?:)
