I never said that they "intentionally" market their boats to amateurs (though they do), I just said that they DO market them to amateurs, and you admit that in your post

You bash me for saying that they "intentionally" market their boats to amateurs, which I never said prior to this post, then you admit that they do in fact market their boats to amateurs... I really don't understand you...
You didn't????

My Post:
It depends who the boat is marketed to (which is why I think they started offering the training course with the boat). The boat is being marketed to Joe Offshorewannabe, and if Joe Offshorewannabe 1, 2, 3, and 4 roll them, then there is a design flaw in the hull/rigging (for intensive purposes).

What exactly were you talking about then???

Its amazing how people seek to impose higher standards on things on the water. Last time I checked car manufacturers didnt offer driver training couses with each new car sale. Although it may be a prudent thing to do, I dont think they have any obligation.
Boatless...

You'd have to see the thread that got deleted to put my posts in proper context, and note, I've never stated that an OL isn't of merchantable quality or that it is in fact unfit for its intended use. I merely brought up the possibility that it may not be based on numerous posted stories of them either rolling over or the ease at which it could happen.

I really have to question your M.O. for bringing this up, especially when this has already been discussed in a peaceful manner...

Both were results of driver error. The fact that we offered and encouraged the course was based on the fact that everybody has something to learn, It is easy for the majority of people on this board (who have never even been on a 42 OL) to comment and speculate on topics that they have no idea on what they are talking about.

The dumbest people on the planet are those who think they know everything.
First time on OSO Fred? LOL JK. The BS never ends here man
