Both boats look good but workmanship, performance, resale value, SKATER all the way.

I would definitely buy a skater but after riding in a 36 Spectre yesterday it felt pretty damn safe just because of it's size.

Flat deck Skater makes all others, and I mean all others, look very dated. I am a Spectre fan, but there is no comparison between the two. If you've got the cabbage, Skater.

I own a 36ft. Spectre Poker Run edition. I have never felt scared in any water, or in any situation. I have been in some pretty rough water, and watched some of the other big V-hulls getting pounded. The Spectre rode it out like a champ. Now if it just had a cabin to get out of the rain.........
