Paint or Not to Paint????
Hey all,
Just thought I would get some input since I am on the fence of whether or not to paint the Apache Scout I have.... The soon to be wive loves the barbie boat paint job but I have some other Ideas... I am in the middle of replacing all the wood in it... That is a long story in itself that I can post about later. I am getting close to the point were it makes sense to paint it... Should I paint it or not?????
Please respond with any ideas also...
Thanks,
Jr.

Yes and several Apaches I've seen...I like those old school cool designs and colors. I wouldn't use those designs on a modern boat but the colors are still in vogue. Remember that Ocean Express cat 'Chasin The Deal'? Cool 3D effect in the design.

I truly do like it but would l love to see an updated design on it.. My only objective is it cant look like a Crayon box thrown up on it...

Thats what I was thinking Dave... but the white one I do have a feeling you will be painting it!! Thats a little over my head for me... I will stick to the rigging and ... part of it. Gotta know when to say when.. Please come up with some ideas.. No hocky stripes thought, thats to much cig Not sure on what paint systems you use but, I would love to do a clear coat over it like the cig... Will talk more..

I voted to keep it original. Mine was repainted before I bought it. I added the logos. It looked really clean but if yours is in good shape I would just leave it
i had wood issues as well (floor)
