Default Bob Probert Dies.

It was reported today on the News that former Detroit Red Wing and Chicago Black Hawk, Bob Probert died of an apparent heart attack on his boat on Lake St. Clair while enjoying the day with his family. Bob Probert was 45 years old. RIP

Saw this on SportCenter earlier. Always a sad thing to hear of someone going at such an age.

This is from the article now up on ESPN.com:

Probert was charged several times with driving under the influence while playing for Detroit. He also was caught trying to carry cocaine from Canada into the U.S. in 1989 and served a six-month federal prison sentence.

He was placed on inactive status for the 1994-95 season after he was involved in a motorcycle accident and tests showed alcohol and cocaine in his system.
